Public content & station profile

Every option on the Public Content page: capability visibility, page copy, equipment and photos.

Public Content is the second half of the admin interface, alongside PiSky Setup — it controls what visitors see, rather than how the station itself is configured.

Capability visibility

  • Enable or hide Camera — independently of whether Weather or Aircraft are enabled. A hidden capability disappears from both the public navigation and the relevant admin menu automatically; there's nothing else to update.
  • Weather and Aircraft visibility instead follow their own enabled/disabled state in PiSky Setup, so there's one source of truth per capability rather than a separate visibility toggle to keep in sync.

Page copy

  • Visitor page introductions — the short intro text shown at the top of the Sky, Weather and Aircraft pages.
  • About page — free-form text describing the station and its owner.

Equipment and photos

  • Equipment records — camera and lens models, mounting height, and any other hardware notes worth sharing.
  • Station photos — a small gallery of the physical setup, uploaded directly through the admin interface.
